What the law already says
Original work is protected the moment it is fixed in a tangible form. That is United States copyright, 17 U.S.C. § 102. You do not get the code, the layout, the cards, the images, or the copy because they arrived in your browser. Delivery to a browser is how a site is shown. It is not abandonment. It is not a public-domain grant. It is not fair use just because the URL is public.
Fair use is a narrow defense, decided on purpose, amount, and market harm. Cloning this site, restyling it, flipping the name, or shipping our art as your product is not commentary. It is a substitute. Substitutes get treated as infringement.
What we treat as a rip
- Saving, scraping, or republishing this site’s HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or images as your own.
- Mirroring the layout, card system, or MAG 6 framing and calling it original.
- Using LANA'S WATCH, LANA AI, Moon Rover Labs, or confusingly close marks.
- Training a commercial model on our writing or art without a written license.
What we will do
We document. We send a cease-and-desist. We file DMCA notices with hosts, registrars, app stores, and CDNs under 17 U.S.C. § 512. We ask platforms to pull the copy. We pursue statutory damages and fees where the statute allows. We do not argue about it in the comments.
If you want a license, ask in writing. If you do not have one, do not take the work.
